The Primary Care Collaborative (PCC) is hosting a free webinar, titled “Rolling Up Our Sleeves: The Effort to Vaccinate Americans,” on Tuesday, Feb. 23, from 4 to 5 p.m. EST. As millions of people across the country roll up their sleeves to receive COVID-19 shots, many sectors are also rolling up their sleeves and getting to work in this massive undertaking. For widespread immunity to happen rapidly and efficiently, it will take coordination and cooperation by primary care and other sectors. In this webinar, experts will provide different perspectives on the role of primary care and other sectors as the distribution of the vaccines ramps up.
Ann Greiner, president and CEO of the Primary Care Collaborative, will moderate. Panelists include ACP's CEO and EVP Darilyn Moyer, MD, FACP, as well as Angelica Geter, DrPH, MPH, chief strategy officer of the Black Women's Health Imperative; David Fairchild, MD, MPH, medical officer for CVS MinuteClinic and professor of medicine at University of Massachusetts Medical School; and Lloyd Michener, MD, professor of community and family medicine at Duke University School of Medicine.
Registration is online.
The webinar will be recorded and posted on the PCC's website.
