ACP's Darilyn Moyer receives Lewis Katz School of Medicine Alumni Achievement Award, Elizabeth Blackwell Award

ACP's EVP and CEO is being honored for her contributions to medicine.


ACP congratulates EVP and CEO Darilyn Moyer, MD, FACP, on receiving two recent awards for her contributions to medicine.

Dr. Moyer was recognized with the Lewis Katz School of Medicine Alumni Achievement Award, given to alumni whose contributions to medicine have had a lasting impact. Prior to becoming ACP's EVP and CEO, Dr. Moyer was a professor of medicine, executive vice chair for education in the department of medicine, internal medicine residency program director, and assistant dean for graduate medical education at Lewis Katz School of Medicine at Temple University.

Dr. Moyer is also the 2020 recipient of Elizabeth Blackwell Award from the American Medical Women's Association (AMWA). AMWA's Elizabeth Blackwell Award was established in 1949 by Elise S. L’Esperance, MD, and is granted annually to the woman physician who has made the most outstanding contribution to the cause of women in the field of medicine.
